Whale season is in full effect. This year the season got off to a slow start in November, but now their are whales, whales, and more whales every where you look on the coasts of Maui. I managed to get this beautiful shot of a calf playing in the water. As I said before, it's more difficult to shoot subjects in motion and more difficult shooting ones whose motion you can't possibly predict.
I think this image came out pretty nice. Whale season in Hawaii is from late October to early April.
